The archaeological museum is situated at Capo Schisò and incorporates part of the town, walls of the ancient Greek city.
Of particular interest is the first written document found at Naxos: fragments of a "Kilix" (ceramic cup). Of the votive exhibits, there are several valuable terracottas.
On the first floor of the building can be seen the collection of "Sileni", which shows the highest quality workmanship. A visit to the archaeological museum can be completed with the "archaeological" walk around the walls of the ancient city.
