FROM THE ANCIENT SALT TOWN TO THE MODERN TOURIST TOWN

Surrounded by the Adriatic, the salt waters of the salines and the green of the pinewoods the ancient "salt town" in time has transformed itself into a modern "holiday town". Its first seaside resort facilities date to 1882, and in 1912 the creation of the "garden city" Milano Marittima gave a strong impulse to tourist development.

Since then dedication to hospitality has put Cervia Milano Marittima in fourth place among Italian tourism centres for the welcome and services it offers.
