Established in 1938 the Garden today is the first in Italy an among the first in Europe for its scientific importance. It stretches over four terraced hectares in the green scenery of the Romagnol hills and contains four hundred species of plants cultivated, studied and analysed for use in the various fields of application:medical, biological, cosmetic, food and genetic experimentation.
